Don Anderson begins his second season as Director of Operations on the Dolphins' men's basketball staff.

Anderson comes to JU after serving a five-year stint at Binghamton University from 2007-12. He served as the operations director for the first two seasons before finishing the final three as assistant coach for the Bearcats.

Outside of Binghamton, Anderson has also had coaching stints at UMBC (2006-07), Coppin State (2002-06), Mount Saint Mary's (1989-02) and Gettysburg College (1985-89).

During his time under the tutelage of legendary coach Jim Phelan at Mount Saint Mary's, he helped guide The Mount to two NCAA bids (1995 & 1999) and an NIT bid (1996). He also coached and worked with JU head coach Cliff Warren during his tenure.

Anderson was a four-year starter at Franklin & Marshall College, finishing as a 1,000-point scorer. He was later named to the All-Era team.

Anderson received his bachelor’s degree in history from Franklin & Marshall College in 1982. He lives in Jacksonville and has a son named Malcolm.
