JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville University baseball team will open its four-game series against No. 15 Florida State in a special way as the Dolphins host the Seminoles at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. The game, which is presented by the Jacksonville Sports and Entertainment Board (JEDC), will mark the first Division I contest to be played at the home of the Jacksonville Suns, the AA-affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Tickets for the game will be $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children (14 & under) and military personnel with ID, and can be purchased through the Jacksonville Suns Box Office (904) 358-2846 or at jaxsuns.com. Reserved seats can be purchased in advance, but all tickets purchased on the day of the game will be general admission only.

The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville will also serve as host for the 2005 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Baseball Championship, May 24-29. Tickets are available at (904) 358-2846 or jaxsuns.com.

The first intercollegiate contest held at the facility was Edward Waters College and Savannah State on April 14, 2004.
