Appeared in a team high tying 25 games, including six starts in his first year with the program...part of the weekend rotation to start the season until developing into an important cog out of the bullpen...ranked third on the squad with 51 strikeouts...fourth with 52.2 innings...as a reliever, he went 1-1 with a 2.91 ERA, a save, a .214 opponent batting average and 33 strikeouts in 34 innings...did not allow an earned run in 12-of-19 appearances...hurled three innings of shutout relief at Florida Gulf Coast (3/22)...also blanked Georgia Southern for three innings of relief (4/15)...notched his first collegiate save with a strikeout to defeat Bethune-Cookman at the Gainesville Regional (5/30)...also hurled a shutout inning of relief against No. 17 Miami the next day (5/31)...as a starter, he earned his first collegiate win after striking out a season-high seven batters against Akron (2/27)...earned his second win by throwing three shutout innings in a predetermined start against No. 6 Florida State (3/3).
Prior to JU: Played two seasons at Okaloosa Walton Junior College as a pitcher/outfielder for Keith Griffin...as a sophomore, he led the staff with a 4.90 ERA, a .225 opponent batting average and 72 strikeouts in 80 innings...as a freshman, he earned all-Panhandle Conference honors after posting a 3.19 ERA, a .173 opponent batting average and 32 strikeouts in 35 innings.
High School: Two-year starter as a pitcher and first baseman at Fort Walton Beach High School...as a sophomore, he earned all-area honors after going 4-2 with three saves and a 3.11 ERA.
