As a sophomore (2009): Appeared in 41 games, including 32 stars (30 at third base, two as designated hitter)...second on the squad with eight hit by pitch...went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI vs. Akron (2/27)...finished 2-for-2 with a season-high three walks at Belmont (4/4)...tallied his first colleigiate home run and tallied two RBI at Mercer (5/10)...during the summer, he batted .288 (19-66) in 19 games with the Kenai Peninsula Oilers of the Alaska Baseball League...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean’s List.

As a freshman (2008): Started in 12 games (10 at third base, one at first base, one in right field) before missing the final month of the season with a broken thumb...in his first collegiate start, he went 3-for-4 with a double at No. 18 Florida (3/25)...tallied a six game hitting streak to start off his career and recorded a hit in 9-of-12 starts...drove in a run in four consecutive games...drew 12 walks in 12 games...scored a season-high three runs before getting injured at Bethune-Cookman (4/15)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors.

High School: Four-year starter as a shortstop for Mike Harper at South Fork High School…earned the school’s career .300 Batting Average Award…as a senior, he was named Playstation National All-America and first team all-area after batting .331 with three home runs, eight doubles, three triples and 20 RBI…as a junior, he ranked No. 98 in the Top 350 National High School Players list and garnered second team all-area accolades after hitting .362, with three home runs, nine doubles five triples and 28 RBI…as a sophomore, he earned honorable mention all-area honors after batting .324 with a home run, five doubles and two triples with 20 RBI…as a freshman, he served as the lead-off hitter and starting shortstop for the varsity squad…batted .310 with a home run, five doubles, two triples and 15 RBI…named to the honor roll all four years…also a member of the National Honors Society…drafted by the New York Mets in the 36th round of the MLB Draft.

Personal: Born July 24, 1988, in Long Island, N.Y…son of Howard and Kimberly…has two sisters: Shannon and Kayla…father, Howard (Ho-Jo), who played 14 years in the major leagues (1982-95), is currently the hitting coach for the New York Mets…major is engineering.
