AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in 18 games on the hill and 13 games in the field as a freshman…finished 1-0 with a seven strikeouts in 15 innings of work…tossed 2.1 shutout innings at FGCU (4/29) to get first collegiate win…struck out two batters against Georgia Southern (3/29)…went 1-for-3 with a run against Samford (2/27)…earned A-Sun all-academic honors…during the summer, he played for the Orlando Freedom in the Florida Collegiate Summer League with fellow teammates Matt Frank and Kevin Lehane.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter as an outfielder/pitcher for Terrance Freeman at Eagles View Academy…as a senior, he earned first team all-state and all-city after batting .410 with 26 stolen bases and 25 RBI while going 5-2 with a 2.50 ERA and five saves in 40 innings of work...as a junior, he was named first team all-city, second team all-state and was a Rawlings Honorable Mention All-America selection...batted .430 with 25 stolen bases and 20 RBI while going 9-2 with a 2.20 ERA in 60 innings...as a sophomore, he led the Warriors to a state title by batting .400 with 16 stolen bases and 21 RBI while going 4-1 with a 3.30 ERA in 30 innings...as a freshman, he spent time on the varsity squad as an outfielder...member of the National Honors Society...a member of Mizuno and Florida Bombers summer teams.
