AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Saw action in 38 games with 28 starts as a sophomore … ranked third on the team with a .295 average (33-112) … also finished with seven doubles and seven stolen bases … recorded a hit in his first 14 starts of the season, including a team-best, 12-game hitting streak (3/28-4/15) … season-high three hits to along with two runs scored and an RBI at North Florida (5/19, G1) ... Went 2-for-3 with a stolen base in game two at Lipscomb (5/12) ... recorded RBI hit vs. Florida Gulf Coast (4/15) ... HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter as an outfielder/pitcher for Terrance Freeman at Eagles View Academy…as a senior, he earned first team all-state and all-city after batting .410 with 26 stolen bases and 25 RBI while going 5-2 with a 2.50 ERA and five saves in 40 innings of work ... as a junior, he was named first team all-city, second team all-state and was a Rawlings Honorable Mention All-America selection ... batted .430 with 25 stolen bases and 20 RBI while going 9-2 with a 2.20 ERA in 60 innings ... as a sophomore, he led the Warriors to a state title by batting .400 with 16 stolen bases and 21 RBI while going 4-1 with a 3.30 ERA in 30 innings ... as a freshman, he spent time on the varsity squad as an outfielder ... member of the National Honors Society ... a member of Mizuno and Florida Bombers summer teams ... participated in a USA Baseball national invitee showcase ... ranked in the Top 200 by Perfect Game USA and attended a national showcase with the organization
