HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter in the outfield for Justin Harrison at Eastside High School...did not play his senior season due to shoulder surgery...as a junior, he was named first team all-area by the Gainesville Sun and won the batting title with a .468 average, 13 doubles and two triples...as a sophomore, he earned first team all-area accolades by the Gainesville Sun and won the batting title with a .500 average, seven doubles and two triples despite missing the last half of the season with an ankle injury...as a freshman, he earned Gainesville Sun all-area honorable mention honors after batting .305...a member of the National Honor Roll and the National Honor Society.
