AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Appeared in 34 games, including 23 starts (eight in left field, seven as the designated hitter, six in right field, two in center field)...tied for fourth on the squad with eight doubles...went 2-for-5 (.400) as a pinch-hitter, including his first collegiate triple at Florida A&M (4/1)...went 3-for-3 with a season-high two doubles against FIU (3/11)...finished 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI against Mercer (4/5)...tallied a season-high two stolen bases against Belmont (3/8)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean’s List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter as a center fielder for Ray Evans at Flanagan High School…led the Falcons to a combined 98-24-1 record, three regional and district championships and two state titles in four years…as a senior, he earned third team all-state and second team all-county honors after batting .404 with four home runs, 15 doubles, two triples, 30 RBI and 17 stolen bases…as a junior, he garnered all-county accolades and led the team to a No. 1 ranking in the state and a No. 3 ranking at the national level after batting .332 with five home runs, eight doubles, a triple and 23 RBI…as a sophomore, he was named honorable mention all-county and the team finished No. 6 in the state and No. 24 in the nation after hitting .328 with five home runs, three doubles, two triples and 14 RBI…as a freshman, he started games in right field while hitting two home runs, two doubles and driving in 10 runs...teammates with former Dolphin pitcher Glenn Witkowski.
