As a junior (2008): Made 10 appearances, including six starts…served as the staff’s long reliever and mid-week starter...notched his second career save after fanning four in three innings of relief in the second game of a doubleheader at Gardner-Webb (3/1)...notched his first win of the year after allowing two runs and striking out five batters in five innings against FIU (3/12)...earned his second win after scattering two hits in six scoreless innings at Florida A&M (4/16/)...registered his third win after tallying three shutout innings of relief against Georgia Southern (5/13)...tied career high with six strikeouts vs. Bethune-Cookman (4/9)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean’s List.

As a sophomore (2007): Made eight appearances, including two starts…earned a win over Bethune-Cookman (2/2) after allowing one unearned run with five strikeouts in four innings of relief…notched a career-best six strikeouts with a season-high 4.2 innings in a no-decision against UConn (3/7)…did not allow an earned run in five of six relief appearances…in summer league play, he was a member of the Laramie Colts in the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League..went 5-1 with a 3.38 ERA and 37.1 innings in eight appearances and six starts.

As a freshman (2006): Appeared in eight games, including two starts on the mound...earned his first collegiate win after allowing only one run in 6.1 innings against Wagner (3/15)...notched his first career save after hurling three innings of relief at Bethune-Cookman (2/11)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean’s List.

High School: Three-year starter at Mountain Ridge High School as a pitcher for Rob Kiepke…as a senior, he finished 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA and averaged 1.5 strikeouts per inning before sitting out the rest of the year with an appendectomy…Mountain Lions finished with a 30-4 record, their fourth consecutive regional title and a No. 2 ranking in the state…as a junior, he helped lead the squad to a No. 1 ranking in the state, a third consecutive regional championship and a 27-4 record with two no-decisions and a 3.00 ERA…as a sophomore, he helped the team to a No. 3 ranking in the state, a regional championship and a 25-7 record after going 4-0 with a 2.30 ERA…as a freshman, he finished 5-1 with a 1.72 ERA and batted .400 from the plate at Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colo…earned National Honor Roll honors as a senior…at the club level, he competed with the All-Star Academy (2-0 with 3-to-1 strikeout/walk ratio) and Pilots Baseball (3-0 with a 4-to-1 strikeout/walk ratio).
