As a freshman (2008): Sat out the season as a redshirt...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors.

High School: Four-year starter as shortstop and second baseman for Matt Kealm at Cocoa Beach High School…also lettered on the varsity squad as an eighth grader…as a senior, he earned all-county honors and led the Minutemen to regionals for the first time in 20 years after batting .380 with 10 doubles, a home run, 32 runs and 20 stolen bases…as a junior, he garnered all-conference and all-county accolades after hitting .353 with eight doubles, 23 runs and 11 stolen bases…as a sophomore, he was named team defensive MVP while batting .338 with seven doubles, 17 runs and 14 stolen bases…as a freshman, he earned team defensive MVP honors while hitting .329 with four doubles, 14 runs and 10 stolen bases…in AAU play, he batted .355 (wood bat) and tallied 15 stolen bases for the Florida Stars…also a two-year starter in football as a quarterback and defensive back.
