2008: Played in 10 games as a sophomore, earning time
at defensive back and on special teams…had 13 tackles
on the season, with seven solos…had two tackles in a
game six times, the last coming against Dayton (11/22).
2007: Played in seven games as a freshman, seeing time
primarily on special teams.
High School: Played two years at Ocala Vanguard under
head coach Phillip Yancey…was named the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes “Athlete of the Year” and was named
“Athlete of the Year” at Ocala Vanguard…led team to
5-5 record as a senior after recording 54 tackles, two
interceptions, two forced fumbles and two blocked
kicks…led team to a 5-5 finish as a junior after recording
49 tackles and five interceptions…also participated in
basketball, track and weightlifting…member of FCA and
graduated with high honors.
