2008: Played in four games as a junior at running back…
rushed for 77 yards on 19 carries, finishing fifth on the
team in rushing yards…rushed for a season-high 38 yards
on 13 carries against Campbell (9/13)…had two carries
for 18 yards against top-ranked Appalachian State (9/6).
2007: Played in 10 games as a sophomore at running
back, starting one…finished third on the team in rushing
yards with 225…scored three rushing touchdowns, with
the final two coming in the last three games…rushed for
a career-best 83 yards on 10 carries against Valparaiso
(11/3)…also caught nine passes for 65 yards during the
season, with the longest being a 32-yard reception at
Dayton (10/6)…had at least five carries in a game five
times.
2006: Appeared in 6-of-10 games as a change of pace
running back as a true freshman…finished with a seasonhigh
four rushes for six yards, including a nine-yard
scamper at Southeastern Louisiana (9/16)…caught one
pass for 35 yards against Gardner-Webb (9/2).
High School: Two-year running back at Clearwater
Central Catholic for coach Mike Jalazo… as a senior, led
the Mauraders to a regional championship and a 10-3
record…named first team all-conference and all-county
and second team all-state…finished with 247 carries
for 1,916 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns in his prep
career…also tallied eight receptions for 84 yards and a
touchdown in his career.
