2008: Played in eight games as a freshman, starting five at
middle linebacker…earned PFL Defensive “Player of the
Week” honors after racking up 13 tackles in the Dolphins
30-29 win over San Diego…had eight tackles against No.
1 Appalachian State…his lone interception came in the
season opener at Savannah State, returning it 62 yards
to setup a JU touchdown…recorded a season-high 1.5
tackles for a loss at Morehead State.
High School: Two-year starter at Naples High School
under Bill Kramer and Sam Dollar…helped the Golden
Eagles win a state championship as a senior and a district
title as a junior.
