Football season tickets are on sale
With training camp starting in less than four weeks, JU football season tickets went on sale Monday afternoon.
The Dolphins will play five games at home this season with the season ticket price set at $60. Fans will also have a chance to purchase priority tailgate parking spots in “The Grove,” which sold out last year. The price for a season pass in “The Grove” is $60.
“We have an exciting home schedule this year that will give our fans a chance to see us play the best teams in our conference on our home field,” said JU director of athletics Alan Verlander. “The Grove really took off last year and is a great place to tailgate before our games, creating a great atmosphere for our football program.”
JU has games at D.B. Milne Field in September (Sept. 13 vs. Campbell), with two more home contests in October (Oct. 9 vs. Webber International and Oct. 25 vs. San Diego). The Dolphins wrap up their season with home games the final two weeks of the season in November against Drake (Nov. 15) and Dayton (Nov. 22).
“This year’s schedule is going to be very challenging, but I like where we are at as a team,” said JU head coach Kerwin Bell. “We’ve got a young team that is hungry to get started. I’m ready for us to get everyone back on campus and start preseason camp.”
Season tickets can be ordered online through JUDolphins.com or through Nikki Swanson in JU ticket office at (904) 256-7400.
