Five Jacksonville University football players have received post season accolades, including two who have been honored for academic achievement.

Quarterback Josh McGregor has been named to the first team of the academic All Pioneer Football league team. McGregor, a sports management major, is joined by teammate Taylor Marsh a linebacker majoring in accounting. Marsh is a second-team selection.

Three other Dolphins have been named to the College Sports Madness All PFL team.

Offensive lineman Ian Osking , a senior, defensive back Lacy McDougald and kick returner Colby Walden were named to the team.

Osking, a senior, has been a steady force on the line his entire collegiate career as he has started every game since his freshman year.

McDougald, from Jacksonville, Fla., tied a school record this year with five interceptions including two (one returned for a touchdown) against Davidson. Walden averaged 26.3 yards per kickoff return and his efforts included a 93-yard touchdown return against Charleston Southern.
