Jacksonville Lands Program Best 45 Student-Athletes On PFL Academic Honor Roll
Dolphin Student-Athletes honored for achieving a 3.0 GPA or higher during the fall semester
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Jacksonville was represented by program best 45 student-athletes on The Pioneer Football League’s Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2012 semester. Last season JU was represented by 28 student-athletes on the list. The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules. The league placed a record 490 student-athletes on the Honor Roll this year from its 10 member institutions. It is the fourth consecutive year the PFL has announced a record number of students to its honor roll with its current 10 member institutions. It also is the sixth consecutive year the league has seen an increase in the number of students recognized on its honor roll.
