Robustelli Collects Preseason All-American Accolades
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior wide receiver Andrew Robustelli rewrote a number of Jacksonville University records a year ago, now the rest of the nation is starting to take notice. Robustelli was named a preseason All-American by The Sports Network and the Beyond Sports Network.

A preseason second team pick for BSN, Robustelli is looking to build on a 2013 season in which he ranked top 15 nationally in receiving TDs (14th; 11 TDs), receiving yards (15th; 1,063 yards) and yards per game (13th; 96.6 ypg). The 2014 Preseason All America Football Team was chosen based on returning All Americans from the 2013 BSN All America Football Team, highest vote recipients in the 2013 BSN All American Voting, statistics, and game evaluations. The 2013 BSN All American team was selected based on votes by college sports information directors and college coaches.  Every school was given the opportunity to have two votes.

Robustelli was a preseason third team pick for The Sports Network.

Last season he was named to Walter Camp’s 2013 Football Championship Subdivision All-America team, the College Sports Madness All-American FCS Football Second Team and the Beyond Sports Network All-American Fourth Team.

The 2014 season will mark a new era in JU football. The newly constructed D.B. Milne Field opens this fall featuring a 2,500-seat grandstand along with a state of the art scoreboard, lights plus new rest room and concessions facilities.

The season gets underway Aug. 30 at Southeastern Louisiana followed by the Sept. 13 home opener vs San Diego.
