JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A new head coach, a championship mentality and 20 returning starters have the Jacksonville football team looking forward to the 2007 campaign.

On Tuesday, the JU football season ticket drive begins in earnest as the Dolphins are looking to top last year's mark.

"This program made great strides in the spring and I believe that once you see this group play, you will want to watch again and again," said JU director of athletics Alan Verlander. "Coach Bell has installed an offense that is fun to watch as well as fitting the personnel that we have returning."

The Dolphins 2007 schedule features six home games, including four against Pioneer Football League rivals.

"This is a tough schedule, but we're not going to shy away from challenges," Bell said. "We've got six home games and with the fans behind us, we feel that playing at home is going to be a big advantage."

Season tickets are $80 and preferred parking passes are available for $50. For more information on purchasing season tickets, contract the JU Ticket Office at (904) 256-7407.
