2008: Started all 13 games as sophomore at offensive tackle…anchored the line at left tackle…helped pave the way for school records in rushing yards, passing yards and total offense. 2007: Started 11 games at offensive tackle as a true freshman…jumped into the lineup after injuries plagued the offensive line during training camp and shined in the spotlight…was a key member of the line that blocked for Rudell Small’s record-tying five touchdown performance against UNC-Pembroke (9/22). High School: Played two years at Sandalwood High School under head coach Adam Gies…had around 50 pancake blocks his senior season, leading his team to an 8-5 record…had 35 pancake blocks his junior year, helping his team to a 5-5 record…also was a member of the wrestling team where he had a 7-3 record his senior year.
