High School:Three-year letterman at Deerfield Beach High School under coaches Greg Minnis and Art Taylor … helped his school to district titles in three of his four seasons … as a senior, he led his school to a regional championship and a berth in the state semifinals … named third team all-state, second team all-county and first team all-Broward … also earned team Wide Receiver of the Year honors … also ran the 4x400-meter relay and 400-meter on the track team for two years. ­
