2010: In his junior season, played in 11 games and was fifth on the team in tackles with 21 solo and 33 assists ... recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks and was credited with five pass defense plays and a pair of quarterback hits … had a 10-tackle game against Campbell and recorded seven-tackle games against Appalachian State and Valparaiso.
2009: Played in 10 games as a sophomore, starting the final nine … missed the season opener due to an injury…finished the year as the third leading tackler on the defensive line with 40 tackles, 11 of which were solos … had a season-high nine in the season finale at Campbell … recorded six tackles in the win at San Diego … posted seven tackles at Marist … had 2.5 sacks during the season, with one coming against Marist and Campbell with a half sack against Morehead State … had four tackles for a loss on the year, with a season-high 1.5 at Marist.
2008: Started the final four games of his freshman season, playing in 11 of the 13 games…had his best game of the season against San Diego, racking up a season-best four tackles, with one tackle for a loss – a sack on the final play of scrimmage to clinch JU’s 30-29 win … picked up one of his three sacks at #1 Appalachian State … had three tackles against Drake and Valparaiso … had two forced fumbles – one at Appalachian State and at Morehead State.
High School: Three-year starter at Freedom High School under head coach Marquel Blackwell … as a senior, he was a team captain for the Patriots and earned team defensive MVP honors … also named first team all-county on defense and second team all-county for his offensive efforts … played in the Hillsborough County All-Star game at the end of his senior season … also completed on the track tam as a senior…won the district and regional titles in the discus throw … owns the school records in the discus and shot put.
