  • Led the Pioneer Football League in total offense with 312.6 yards per game
  • Second in the PFL with 299.6 yards per game passing and third with 25 TDs
  • Played in eight games averaging 3.1 TD passes per game after missing three games to an emergency appendectomy
  • Completed 158 for 237 (55.1%) passing on the year and was third in the PFL with a 144.9 passing efficiency

2012: Started first eight games of the season before suffering season ending injury … completed 106 of 177 passes for 1,401 yards and 12 touchdowns … rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown … threw for four touchdowns against Morehead State and had his first 300-yard game the next week against Davidson (313 yards on 23 completions, three touchdowns).

 

2011: Redshirted the season.

High School: Started one season at Fleming Island High School in Orange Park, Fla., under head coach Jeff Web … as a senior, threw for more than 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns while running for 600 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Golden Eagles to a 13-1 record and a district title … as a junior, led Providence High School in Jacksonville to a 9-2 record by throwing for more than 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushing for 500 yards and five TDs … while at Fleming Island, played with fellow JU freshman Blythe Weaver.

Personal: Born Feb. 19, 1993, in Gainesville, Fla. … son of Kerwin and Cosette … father, Kerwin, is the head coach of the JU football team … has one brother, Kolton, and one sister, Kenzley… major is sports management
