2008: Played in all 13 games, starting 10 – including
the last eight…finished second on the team in tackles
with 67…had at least five tackles in a game nine times,
reaching that total in each of the last seven games…had
a career-best 13 tackles at Butler (11/1), including a
sack…had five tackles at Morehead State (10/18), with
a career-best 1.5 tackles for a loss…had nine tackles at
Valparaiso (11/8).
2007: Played in nine games as a true freshman…saw
playing time early in the season on special teams but
worked his way into the lineup at linebacker in the
season finale…recorded a season-best 10 tackles against
Wagner (11/17).
High School: Played three years at Mosley High School
under head coach Perry Brown…captained team to the
region semifinals as a senior, while recording 90 tackles
and two interceptions…earned Best DB Award, was
named Old Spice “Player of the Year” and earned first team
all-district and all-county honors…led team to region
finals, while recording 88 tackles and three interceptions
his junior year...earned Best DB Award and earned first
team all-county and second team all-district honors…was
named second team all-county after recording 77 tackles
and one interception as a sophomore…played on the
baseball team under head coach Mike Williams for three
seasons…had a 4.0 grade point average throughout high
school and was a member of the Beta Club, FCA and NHS.
