2008: Played in six games as a freshman…recorded nine
tackles during the season…had a season-high three
tackles against Savannah State and Appalachian State…
had one fumble recovery, falling on a fumbled kickoff in
the end zone against Drake.
High School: Played football and ran track at Hallandale
High School in Miami, Fla…in football, he helped lead
the Chargers to perfect 12-0 marks in his sophomore
and junior seasons…as a senior, he was named defensive
MVP…on the track, he earned a state championship and
was named all-county after producing a state record time
of 3:10 in the 4x400-meter relay…off the field, he helped
with the Boys & Girls Club.
