2008: Played nine of JU’s 13 games as a junior…saw
a majority of his playing time at strong safety…had a
season-best five tackles in the Gridiron Classic at Albany…
recorded four tackles at #1 Appalachian State…had three
tackles against Campbell and Butler.
Prior to JU: Earned one letter while playing football for
Florida Atlantic.
High School: Two-year starter at McArthur High School
under Keith Franklin…as a senior, he was named second
team All-Broward County after recording 50 tackles, 11
pass break ups and three interceptions-including one
for a touchdown…recorded five offensive touchdowns,
while posting more than 400 yards receiving and 300
yards rushing to earn team MVP as well as offensive
“Player of the Year” honors…also selected to play in the
Dade vs. Broward County All-Star game…as a junior, he
helped the Mustangs to a school record 11-2 overall mark
to win the district championship and earn a regional
berth…tallied 45 tackles, 12 pass break ups and two
inceptions to aide in the Mustangs being the No. 1 ranked
defense in Broward County….also playing his sophomore
and junior seasons on the basketball team.

of Kenneth and Brenda Bowe…has a brother, Kenneth
Bowe III… …majoring in accounting.
