2008: Started the first two games of the season on the
defensive line before a season-ending ACL injury at topranked
Appalachian State (9/6)…recorded four tackles in
two games, including a half-tackle for a loss against ASU.
2007: Played in eight games as a sophomore on the
defensive line…started four times, including his last three
games before an injury shortened his season…recorded
a season-best seven tackles in the opener at Bethune-
Cookman (9/1)…had at least four tackles in a game three
times…picked up three solo tackles against Morehead
State (10/13).
2006: Played in three games as a freshman.
High School: Played four years at Mandarin High School
under head coach Jermaine Hall…three year starter at
defensive tackle…led team to a 6-6 record and qualified
for the districts as a junior…returned an interception for a
touchdown…also competed on the Mandarin wrestling
team, going 26-4 and becoming district champion in the
heavy weight division.
