Joe Williams
In his six seasons as head coach, Williams built the JU basketball program into a national power and led the Dolphins to the national championship game in 1970. In his career at JU, Williams rolled up a 92-61 record – the third highest win total in Dolphin history. He is best known for the magical 1969-70 season that saw JU skyrocket to national prominence, going 27-2 before falling to UCLA in the NCAA title game.
