Dee Brown
Brown led JU from 1987 to 1990 and is one of six Dolphins to have their jersey retired. He scored 1,503 points in his career and remains in the school’s top 10 list in four categories. Brown still holds the JU single-season steals record with 88 in 1989-90. After graduating from JU, he was the 19th selection in the first round by the Boston Celtics in 1990, playing 12 seasons in the NBA and scoring 6,758 points. Brown shocked the crowd by winning the Slam Dunk Championship in 1991 with his now-legendary no-look dunk. Following his playing career, Brown served as a head coach in the WNBA and earned a one-year contract as a studio analyst as the winner of the ESPN reality show “Dream Job.”
