Softball sweeps Toledo in doubleheader, 12-4 (6) & 8-0 (5)
Sophomore Kayla Shavers finished with two doubles and five RBI, while freshman Sarah Simon recorded two home runs in the first game to help the JU softball team sweep Toledo, 12-4 (6) & 8-0 (5), in a doubleheader on Wednesday night at the JU Softball Complex.

Baseball bounces back with 12-6 win over USF
The Dolphins showed their meddle on this day as junior Chris Kaminski hurled 2.1 innings for a save while the offense scored six unanswered runs in the final three innings as the JU baseball team earned a spit with USF with a 12-6 win, Wednesday afternoon at Red McEwen Field.

Late first-half run dooms JU in loss to Vermont, 21-13
A seven-goal run split between the end of the first half and the start of the second half proved to be too much for the JU women’s lacrosse team in a 21-13 loss to Vermont on Wednesday afternoon at the Ashley Sports Complex.
The Dolphins (2-5, 1-0 NLC) found themselves in a 7-7 tie with the Catamounts (1-2) with 7:39 left in the first half but the deadlock was quickly broken by the visitors.

Baseball falls to USF, 14-7
The Dolphins took a 2-0 lead in the first but that would be the last time they led in the contest as the JU baseball team dropped the first of a two-game series with USF, 14-7, Tuesday evening at Red McEwen Field.

Women’s golf finishes 15th at the Eagle Landing Invitational
The JU women’s golf team struggled in the final round of the Eagle Landing Invitational, sliding four sports to finish 15th in the 17-team event.

Women’s lacrosse ready to cage the Catamounts tomorrow
The JU women’s lacrosse team will look to make it two in a row tomorrow when the Dolphins face Vermont at 4 p.m. at the Ashley Sports Complex.
The Dolphins (2-4, 1-0 NLC) are coming off a narrow victory over St. Bonaventure, 14-12, in a game that saw the Bonnies’ second-half comeback fall short.

Baseball faces USF on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
After losing a pitching due to #3 Florida State on Monday, the JU baseball team (6-5) will continue its eight games in eight days trek at USF (2-9) on Tuesday at Red McEwen Field at 7 p.m.

Cassie Campasano earns NLC "Player of the Week" accolades
The JU women’s lacrosse team received its first “Player of the Week” nod from the National Lacrosse Conference thanks to the play of freshman attacker Cassie Campasano this week.
In a pair of games this week, Campasano netted seven goals and tallied two assists as the Dolphins posted a record of 1-1.
