Women’s basketball earns 62-43 win at Lipscomb to sweep Nashville road trip
The JU women’s basketball team secured an early first half lead and never looked back en route to a 62-43 victory against Lipscomb in Atlantic Sun action on Monday night in Nashville, Tenn.

JU tied for sixth after first day of the JU Invitational
There was one winner after the first day of the JU Invitational hosted by Mark McCumber – the golf course.
Only two players broke par in the opening round on the PLAYERS Stadium Course and only five were under par when the second round was called due to darkness at 6 p.m. with four holes remaining. The average score in the opening round was 80.4, with eight holes playing at least a half stroke over par.

Men's lacrosse hangs with No. 4 North Carolina in program opener but falls, 11-5
The JU men’s lacrosse team showed the lacrosse world that they’re ready for Division I with a feisty 11-5 loss to No. 4 North Carolina at D.B. Milne Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Dolphins (0-1) kept the excited crowd of 4,762 on its feet as they played the Tarheels (1-0) to a 5-3 halftime score before falling further behind in the third quarter.

The JU women’s lacrosse team left the field with their heads held high after an 18-2 defeat to UMBC in its program opener at D.B. Milne Field in front of an electric crowd of 1,043.
