In head coach Cliff Warren’s fifth season at JU, the Dolphins won 20 games for the first time since 1986 and won their first postseason game since 1974 with an upset over Arizona State in the first round of the NIT.
Since winning just one game in his first season at JU, Warren has led the Dolphins to four straight winning seasons – the second longest streak in program history.
The Dolphins were recognized as part of the luncheon that honors all Division I schools who won their conference’s regular season title.
JU was joined by Butler, California, Cornell, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio State, Purdue and Syracuse among others that won their regular season title.
