JU head coach Cliff Warren welcomed back the core group that built and won back-to-back Atlantic Sun Conference championships this past weekend as part of a five-year reunion.

The festive weekend included a coaches vs. former players in a game, watching old practice and game tapes, along with a cookout with memories from the past and some fun at the coaches expense.

“It was a great weekend with a great group of young men that most importantly got their college degree from JU,” Warren said. “It was fun to look back at the last five years and hear the stories from the guys perspective.

“They had a great time because they could crack jokes at me, finally, after being in the program and I was able to fire some jokes back at them as well.”
