Dolphins host A-Sun co-leader Mercer on Saturday
With its first win ever at ETSU in its back pocket, the Jacksonville men’s basketball team begins its final homestand of the season by hosting Atlantic Sun Conference co-leader Mercer on Saturady.

The Dolphins (6-20, 4-11 A-Sun) are in dire need of a win to stay alive in the hunt for a spot in the General Shale Brick Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. JU trails Stetson by two games entering Saturday’s contest.

Buoying the Dolphins postseason hopes is the play of sophomore point guard Aloys Cabell.

The reigning A-Sun “Player of the Week” has been torching defenses in the last 11 games, scoring at least 10 points in each game and at least 20 points in the last three games. During the streak, he is averaging 17.2 points per game.
