A-Sun Partners With CollegeInsider.com On Thursday Night Men’s Basketball Showcase

Nationally recognized college basketball website to stream ASun.TV live at CollegeInsider.com

MACON, Ga. - The Atlantic Sun Conference continues to increase it's national profile by announcing a partnership with CollegeInsider.com to bring a schedule of live conference men’s basketball games to the CollegeInsider.com website. The “Thursday Night Atlantic Sun Showcase” will stream live every Thursday throughout the regular season on CollegeInsider.com beginning January 10.

Jacksonville will be featured on Jan. 31 vs Stetson and on Feb. 21 vs USC Upstate. The games will stream live on CollegeInsider.com via the ASun.TV feed hosted by NeuLion. 

“We are very pleased to announce this step in our growing partnership with CollegeInsider.com,” said A-Sun Commissioner Ted Gumbart. “The Thursday Night A-Sun Showcase expands the coverage and overall distribution of A-Sun basketball and provides a wonderful opportunity to feature our institutions, student-athletes and coaches on a well-respected college basketball platform.”

In addition to the Men's and Women’s Mid-Major Top 25 poll, CollegeInsider.com hosts and annual postseason tournament.  The Dolphins took part in the postseason event in 2011 winning an opening round game at East Carolina 71-66 in overtime.
