TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Five Seminoles scored in double figures and Florida State limited the Dolphins to 17 percent shooting in the second half to erase a three-point halftime deficit and down JU for the 12th straight time, 75-61. The Dolphins led by as many as six in the first half thanks to Shawn Platts, who scored 13 of his team-high 17 points in the first stanza. The Dolphins struggled against FSU's 1-3-1 zone in the second half connecting on only 4-of-24 shots, including 0-of-7 from outside the arc. FSU outrebounded JU 40-27 for the game, including 13-8 on the offensive glass.

Mike Mathews led FSU with 14 points, while Antuan Dixon added 13 points and a game-high 11 boards. Kris Hunter had 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks for JU and Brandon Williams added 13 points. The Dolphins connected on a season-best 25-of-29 free throws for the game, but shot only 32 percent from the field and 27 percent from the three-point line.

The Dolphins fell behind 7-2 in the first 3:04, but Williams hit two 3-pointers and Platts scored on a layup to give JU a 10-9 lead with 12:23 to play in the half. After 11 lead changes and seven ties, Platts scored eight straight points to give the Dolphins a 34-28 lead with 1:15 remaining in the half. FSU used a 19-6 run over the first 8:07 of the second half to take a 52-42 lead. JU cut the lead to 54-48 on three staight free throws by Williams, but a 21-7 surge gave the Seminoles their largest lead, 75-55, with 59 seconds to play in the game.
