JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Shawn Platts scored 16 point in his final home game to lead the Dolphins to an 82-64 win over Stetson on Saturday night.

The win gives Jacksonville (18-9, 11-7 Trans American Athletic Conference) the No. 4 seed in next week's TAAC tournament in Atlanta.

Platt, who picked up two early fouls and played just five minutes in the first half, scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half. He keyed Jacksonville's surge midway through the second with eight points during a 13-2 run, which stretched an 11-point halftime lead to 21 points.

Two other Dolphins seniors also turned in strong efforts in their final home game. Center Kim Hunter, who played just one year for Jacksonville, narrowly missed a triple double, scoring 11 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and blocking eight shots. Guard Brandon Williams scored 13 points and had six assists.

Sebastian Singletary scored 13 of Stetson's first 15 points in the second half to keep the Hatters (16-11, 11-7) within range of the host team. But Jacksonville's balanced scoring - five players in double figures for the second time in three games - more than offset Singletary's game-high 19 points.
