Men's Basketball Falls To Belmont, 84-52

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Adam Mark scored 26 points in Belmont's 84-52 victory over Jacksonville on Thursday evening.

Belmont (13-9, 8-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) outscored the Dolphins 35-6 in the final 12:46 of the first half on a run started by a Brian Collins jumper.

The run gave the Bruins a 48-17 halftime lead, the team's biggest halftime margin of the year.

Belmont led by as many as 35 points in the second half.

Mark hit 7-of-8 shots and scored 16 points in the first half.

Jacksonville's (10-11, 5-4) Calvin Warner and James Daniels each had 12 points. Kevin Sheppard added 11.

Jese Snyder of Belmont added 16 points to match his career high.
