2008-09: Played in 27 games as a freshman...played a season-high 18 minutes at USC Upstate
(Jan. 5) and Mercer (Jan. 9)...scored a seaosn-high nine points against Kennesaw
State (Jan. 11)...had four rebounds or more in a game four times, with a season-best five
at Campbell (Jan. 17)...blocked three shots with six points and three rebounds against
Mercer (Jan. 9)...put up eight points and four rebounds against Florida Gulf Coast (Feb.
21)...had four points and two rebounds in the NITmatchup against Florida.
High School: Lettered four years at Laurel High School for coach Keith Courtereyer, starting
the final three…led Laurel to the district and region championship en route to a 24-2
record his senior season…averaged 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists during his
final season, earning most outstanding player and most valuable player honors.
Personal: A native ofWashington, D.C., he is the son of Billy Alston and Jennifer
Postell…he comes from an athletic family – his uncle Steve Postell played basketball at
Youngstown State…his other uncle Jeff Postell played for the Baltimore Colts while his
cousin, Jeff Postell, Jr., played football at Delaware State…born on Aug. 30, 1990…lists his
