Enters his junior season just 255 points away from joining the 1,000-point club at JU.

2007-08: Started all 31 games as a sophomore…finished third on the team in scoring (13.1) and second in rebound (6.3)…scored in double figures 24 times, going for 20 points or more three times…scored a career-high 24 points at Belmont (Feb. 7), hitting 10-of-16 from the floor while dishing out five assists…had at least five assists in a game five times, including a career-high eight against ETSU (Jan. 25)…put up 22 points at Florida Gulf Coast, hitting 7-of-11 from the floor…had two double-doubles during the season, the first coming against Concordia (Nov. 17 – 12 pts., 12 reb.) and the other against Mercer (Feb. 21 – 17 pts., 10 reb.)…third on the team in block with 15, recording two blocks in a game twice…ranked in the top 15 in the A-Sun in rebounds and field goal percentage.

2006-07: Played in all 29 games as a true freshman, starting 28…named to the A-Sun all-freshman team…finished second on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.2 rpg)…scored in double figures 18 times, including the final three games of the season…had two double-doubles - the first a 14-point, 10 rebound performance against Campbell (Jan. 4); the final was a 17-point, 11-rebound outing against Lipscomb on Feb. 26…hit 30 3-pointers during the season, the third highest total on the team, while ranking second in 3-point percentage…hit three 3-pointers in a game three times…racked up a season-high 19 points against Mercer (Jan. 18)…was second on the team in field goal percentage, hitting 50 percent from the floor (132-264).

High School: Colbert joins the Dolphins after an exceptional senior year at Crawford County High School, averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, four steals and three blocks per game...while facing double teams throughout his senior year, Colbert was able to handle the extra defender, raising his assist total...named second team all-state in Class 2A in Georgia after his junior year and first team all-state in Class 2A his senior year.
