Sophomore Esteban Mendez continued his hot pace as he led the JU men’s cross country team at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships on Saturday.
Mendez was the Dolphins top finisher for the third straight meet by breaking the 30-minute mark in 29:16.12 (72nd).
“The men had the best result of the year by running well on the tough course,” JU head coach Ron Grigg said. “I’m proud of them.”
Senior Jesse Brantman (31:48.91), freshman Martin Crouse (31:59.81), freshman Matthew Outlaw (32:00.01) and freshman Jason Acquaviva (32:17.86) finished in the 74th-77th spots to round out the Dolphins.
