Jacksonville University men’s golf returns to the action March 28th-30th when they compete in the 45th annual Furman Intercollegiate hosted by Furman University. The three-day tournament will be held at the Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C. on a Par-72, 6,994-yard layout.

The 18-team tournament features two top 40 teams in the latest rankings, No. 12 Virginia Tech and No. 37 Kennesaw State.

The complete field consists of: Akron, Charleston Southern, Elon, Francis Marion, Furman, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Marshall, Presbyterian, Samford, Temple, USC Upstate, Virginia Tech, Western Carolina, Winthrop, Wofford

The Dolphins return to tournament action after a dual match against Bradley University at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. last week.  Prior to that the Dolphins picked up an eighth place finish at the seventeen team Bash at the Beach tournament in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. on March 10th and 11th. Colin Mongale was the top finisher for Jacksonville in Myrtle Beach placing thirtieth overall with a three-round total of 218 (+2) that included a round of 67. Brett McKinnon, Prem Samritpricha, Connor Salanger and Nick Torrance represented the Dolphins well who finished with a team score of 879.

The three-day 54-hole tournament begins each day with the first wave of teams teeing off at 8 a.m. eastern and the second wave beginning at noon.  Live scoring will be available on and results will be posted to at the end of each round.
