A-Sun Championship Starts on Sunday for Men's Golf
Braselton, Ga. - Jacksonville University men’s golf swings back in to action April 20th-22nd when they compete in the 2014 Atlantic Sun Men’s Golf Championship. The three-day tournament will be held at The Legends Course at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Ga. on a Par-72, 6,781-yard layout.

The 10-team tournament features one top 40 team in the latest rankings, No. 39 Kennesaw State.

The complete field consists of Atlantic Sun Members: East Tennessee State, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville University, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Mercer, North Florida, Northern Kentucky, Stetson and USC Upstate
The Dolphins fared well in recent by action after picking up a third place finish at the Grub Mart Intercollegiate tournament in Calhoun County, Ala. On April 7th and 8th.

Nick Torrance was the top finisher for Jacksonville in Alabama by placing fifth overall with a two-round total of 142 (-2) that included a round of 68. Brett McKinnon, Prem Samritpricha, Connor Salanger and Dillon Batsel represented the Dolphins well who finished with a team score of 595.

The three-day 54-hole tournament begins each day with the first wave of golfers teeing off at 8 a.m. eastern.  Live scoring will be available on and results will be posted to as soon as they are available.
