Men's golf places two on all-conference team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior Duncan Stewart and Russell Knox rounded out their collegiate careers with first team all-Atlantic Sun Conference honors as announced on Friday, wrapping up a record setting career.
The Dolphins duo finished their careers No. 1 and 2 on the school's career stroke average list (since records were kept in 1993).
It is the second straight year the duo has earned all-conference honors. A year ago, the duo tied for the A-Sun Championship while lifting JU to the conference title and the NCAA Regionals for the first time in school history.
"This is honor is well deserved for both of these young men," said JU head coach Jim Taketa. "These two student-athletes raised the bar for this program and will successful in their future endeavors."
Stewart wrapped up his career with eight individual tournament titles - setting a new school record, including back-to-back A-Sun Championships in 2005 and 2006. Knox won three tournaments as well and finished his career with a 84.5 winning percentage, the best in school history.
This season, Stewart finished with a 71.27 stroke average to lead the team while Knox had a 71.52 average. The duo led the Dolphins to four wins this season, the most in school history as well.
