For six years, Duncan led the Community College of Baltimore County to four Region XX championships and three national championship appearances, including a national championship ring in 2004. During his tenure at CCBC, Duncan was also named the NJCAA National Coach of the Year and a four-time Maryland Juco Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. Duncan was able to capitalize on the talent-rich state of Maryland while at CCBC, producing 27 players with first team all-America honors and three national players of the year. As an assistant coach at CCBC, Duncan had three more NJCAA National Championship appearances. In college, Duncan was a face-off specialist for UMBC. He recorded 211 F/O wins in his career and led the team in groundballs (91) his senior season. |
