Jeremy Tissenbaum receives Jewish Sports Review First Team "All-America" honors
Men’s lacrosse midfielder Jeremy Tissenbaum has received first team All-America honors from the Jewish Sports Review for his efforts during JU’s inaugural season.

Starting every game for the Dolphins, Tissenbaum recorded 15 goals and eight assists while picking up 18 ground balls. The sophomore was also one of the team’s captains.

“I’m happy that Jeremy is being recognized for all of his efforts for this upstart program,” said JU head coach Matt Kerwick. “He’s one of the leaders both on and off the field and has a very contagious work effort. It was a great first year for him on our first midfield unit and we expect more of the same from him in this upcoming season.”

The Dolphins ended the season with a 6-7 record including a triple overtime win over No. 18 Denver. JU joined the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s lacrosse league and will compete in the spring against its members.
