Five rowers from Florida are among the nine new rowers signed to the men’s rowing program by program director and head coach Jim Mitchell.
Along with the Floridians, among them Jacksonville’s Chris Searcy, rowers from Georgia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Tennessee are the newest Dolphins.
“We are excited to announce the Class of 2016 for our men’s rowing program, Mitchell said. “All of these guys have great experience and have been well coached in their high school programs. They are all great students and athletes. I look forward to seeing these guys at the Negaard Rowing Center this fall where I believe they will help us continue to get faster and stronger as a program.’’
