Sept. 21, 2007

ATLANTA, Ga. - JU's men's soccer team lost 3-0 to Georgia State Friday night at the Panthersville Athletics Complex.

Panthers' senior midfielder Floreal Pedrazo scored two goals and added an assist on junior midfielder Joe Devito's goal.

Junior goalkeeper Felipe Carvalho recorded the shutout after making four saves for Georgia State.

The Dolphins started the better of the two sides, with sophomore midfielder Jonathon Jackson coming close from a header early on.

The shot count was tied at 11 each, and the Dolphins held the edge in corner kicks 3-2, but they just could not find a way past Carvalho.

The Dolphins will be in action again on Sunday taking on UAB at 1:00 p.m. in Birmingham.
