Embry-Riddle scored a goal in the 89th minute to tie the match at 1-1 in a men's exhibition soccer match Monday night in Ormond Beach. JU freshman midfielder Dia Hunte (Harriman Park, Trinidad Tobago) scored his second goal in as many matches, scoring on a penalty kick in the 25th minute.

Hunte put JU ahead 1-0 on the penalty kick after being tripped inside the 18-yard box. The Dolphins took the lead into the half and were able to maintain the advantage throughout most of the second half until Embry-Riddle scored the equalizer from 12 yards out in the final minute of the match.

Although disappointed with the tie, JU head coach Bob Moullin was again satisfied with his team's effort saying, "I was encouraged by the performance of the younger guys. This was a good way to finish the preseason."

The Dolphins open the regular season on Friday, August 31, against Winthrop at 5:00 p.m. at the Ashley Sports Complex.
