NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sophomore defender Brian Kallman scored the game-winning-goal in the 80th minute as the Dolphins defeated Belmont, 3-1, Friday in A-Sun men's soccer action. Senior defender Paul Kelley (Peachtree City, Ga.) and sophomore midfielder Jason Alicea (Orlando, Fla.) also scored for the Dolphins, as they improve to 3-8-2, and 2-3 in A-Sun play.

JU took an early 1-0 lead as Kelley scored his first goal of the season on a header off a corner kick by junior Richard Blackburn (Jacksonville/Orange Park) in the fifth minute.

Neither team would score again until the 62nd minute as Channing Twyner tied the match up for Belmont (5-5, 2-2 A-Sun) on a shot from 22 yards out. Kallman scored the go-ahead goal, which was his first of the year, in the 80th minute on a shot that went through the Belmont goalkeeper's hands, making it 2-1.

The Dolphins added another goal less than four minutes later as Alicea scored on a header off a cross from junior midfielder Fabian Reissner (Berlin, Germany). Senior Greg Williams (Hopewell, N.Y.) had five saves for JU in the win.
