Men's Soccer Falls 1-0 to Lehigh in Overtime

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Adam Williamson's golden goal in the 94th minute gave host Lehigh a 1-0 overtime win over the Jacksonville University men's soccer team on the opening night at the Lehigh Nike Tournament at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Dolphins fall to 3-2 on the season, with Lehigh improving to 3-1.
Williamson scored the game-winning goal with assists from Joe Clemente and Patrick Starsinic after beating senior goalkeeper Greg Williams (Hopewell, N.Y.) to the diagonal ball served into the penalty box.
The Mountain Hawks outshot JU, 12-6, and doubled up the Dolphins on cornerkicks, 8-4. Williams had four saves in the contest and falls to 3-2 on the year.
JU takes on Lafayette College at 12 noon on Sunday, Sept. 19, to close out the Lehigh Nike Tournament in Bethlehem, Pa.
