Men's soccer falls to USF, 6-3

TAMPA, Fla.- - The Jacksonville University Men's Soccer team scored three second-half goals, but it wasn't enough as they fell to USF, 6-3, Sunday evening in Tampa, Fla.
The Bulls (1-1) scored four first-half goals. Jordan Seabrook scored the first two goals for the Bulls around the 30-minute marks. Richard Hidalgo scored the third goal off a penalty kick, while Seabrook assisted Sammy Castellanos on his goal to wrap up the Bulls scoring in the first half.
Freshman Anton Axelsson put the Dolphins (1-1) on the board in the second half on an unassisted goal off a rebounded shot at the 42:44 mark. Freshman Jonathon Jackson scored his first goal of the season from an assist by freshman Akeem Priestley to cut the Bulls lead to 4-2.
Seabrook added his third goal of the game just eight minutes late to put the Bulls up 5-2. Junior Tommy Krizanovic scored off a penalty kick with 31-mintues remaining, but the Bulls scored another goal with time running out in the second half to quash the Dolphins hope of winning.
Loren Shumard and Joey Sanchez each had a save in goal during the evening for the Dolphins.
The Dolphins return to action at home this Friday as the host the JU/Adidas Invitational against VMI at 8 p.m.
